Ethical breeding is our first focus, which means the health and happiness of both parents and puppies come before anything else. We start our process before our puppies are even born by verifying the health of both parents. Our dedication doesn’t stop there. From birth to their transition home, our puppies receive essential nutrition, socialization, everyday exposures, and affection. We do all this to deliver you the pure happiness that comes with bringing home your new puppy.

Breeding

The health of our parents and their puppies is our top priority. We can ensure your puppy will come home happy and healthy by starting our process with

  • Genetically testing our parents
  • Matching the right mom and dad together based on genetic testing results
  • Ensuring all fathers pass a comprehensive health screening
  • Ensuring all mothers pass a comprehensive health screening
  • Regular checkups on the progress of the pregnancy

*Genetic testing is limited and does not cover all the bases. We perform genetic testing based on what’s available, but it cannot guarantee that your puppy won’t develop certain conditions as they age. We can only rule out what is being tested for at this time.

Birth

Both mama and puppies receive every ounce of our attention during this crucial time. With 10+ years of experience under our belt, we exercise every best practice to ensure the safe delivery of each puppy. These practices include:

  • Hands-on birthing in our home
  • Vets kept on call for any concerns or complications
  • Mom’s family is invited to join in on the birth experience
  • 24-hour monitoring for the first several nights
  • Puppies are kept under close observation to ensure proper weight gain
  • Dedication to each puppy thriving in a safe environmen

Growth

After our puppies make a safe arrival into this world, the next 8 weeks are dedicated to their growth and development. This is an essential time for each puppy. We ensure their progress and safety with:

  • Cameras to monitor mom and puppies
  • Daily weight checks
  • Ensuring mom has access to fresh, nutrient-dense human-grade food
  • Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
  • Early Scent Introduction (ESI)
  • Softened fresh, nutrient-dense human-grade food after weaning
  • Safe grooming practices at an appropriate age

Transition Home

Going home is a big step for every puppy. We start preparations before that exciting day to ensure that both you and your new puppy can happily adjust and bond with each other. We do this by:

  • Essential socialization exposure
  • Introducing puppies to everyday noises, flashing lights, and new textures
  • Exposure to everyday experiences like meeting new people and playing outside
  • Positive introduction to gentle crate training
  • Naturally promoting potty training by establishing a safe and comfortable space
