What happens when you mix a Golden Retriever with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle? You get a fluffy and loving companion for life. We must warn you, though, that life will be full of snuggles and affection. How could you say no to a deal like that?
Why Choose a Cavadoodle?

Cavadoodles are a mix of everything we love in dogs. Fluffy coats, infectious puppy eyes, and loyal companionship. Oh, and did we mention they look just like little teddy bears? All this, combined with their sweet and gentle nature, makes them the perfect addition to any family.
Temperament:
A Cavadoodle is affectionate and gentle. They are loyal to their people and tend to be easy-going compared to other breeds. Given their friendly nature, Cavadoodles make an excellent addition to families with children.
Energy Level:
Low to moderate. Cavadoodles thrive with short daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation games.
*Every puppy has different energy levels that manifest with their growth and developing personalities.
Trainability:
Cavadoodles are intelligent and eager to please, which makes them very trainable. They respond best to positive reinforcement and gentle training methods.
Coat Type:
Cavadoodles typically have wavy to curly coats that are soft and fluffy. They are low-shedding and a great fit for those who deal with allergies.
Our Breeding Standard

Responsible Cavadoodle breeding is an all-encompassing task. It starts with the genetic testing of the parents to rule out hereditary diseases and ensure the health of each puppy, andends with the preparations for a seamless transition in their new home. While they are living with us, our puppies receive daily affection, proper socialization, and an introduction to behavioral training.
*Genetic testing is limited and does not cover all the bases. We perform genetic testing based on what’s available, but it cannot guarantee that your puppy won’t develop certain conditions as they age. We can only rule out what is being tested for at this time.

Size Variations

Micro Cavadoodle:
4-10 pounds
A Micro Cavadoodle is an interesting mix of breeds. We take the adorable features of the Cavapoo and mix the loving nature of the Golden Retriever. But there’s a twist. These puppies also inherit the intelligent qualities of the Poodle as well. When you put it all together, well, you get something very special.
Teacup Cavadoodle:
10-20 pounds
Teacup Cavadoodles incorporate the same mix of genetics as Micro Cavadoodles, with one difference. They are bred with larger parents to increase their size. We recommend Teacup Cavadoodles for families with younger children.
*Every litter is based on the genetics of the parents and grandparents. These weights are just an estimate.

Living with Your Cavadoodle

As with any breed, Cavadoodles need the right kind of care to thrive in your home. It is important to take this into consideration when deciding which puppy is the right fit for you.
Exercise:
While every puppy is different in terms of energy, Cavadoodles generally need low to moderate exercise. We recommend trying different activities to see what works best for both of you. They typically love short daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation (snuffle mats or treat puzzles), as long as these activities are followed by plenty of cuddles.
Grooming:
Regular grooming is recommended for Cavadoodles. The best care for their soft and fluffy coats includes brushing them 3-4 times a week and visiting professional groomers every 6-8 weeks. Many families learn how to do basic trims at home between professional grooming appointments.
Health & Lifespan:
There are a lot of variables associated with health and lifespan. While we’re always happy to give our opinions and recommendations, the best thing you can do is consult your vet for questions about nutrition, exercise, health concerns, and vaccinations.
