Considered the ultimate designer dog, Goldendoodles have captured many hearts across the nation with their fluffy coats, sweet personalities, and loving nature. Their popularity truly speaks for itself. If you decide to bring one home, we can guarantee much happiness and even more snuggles in your future.

Why Choose a Goldendoodle?

Goldendoodles are the epitome of “man’s best friend.” They are loving, eager to please, and look like real-life teddy bears. Need we say more? Other owners have compared them to young kids with their high intelligence and empathetic tendencies.

Temperament:
Friendly, intelligent, and eager to please. Their loving personalities create deep bonds with their families, which makes them a great option for households with children and other pets.

Energy Level:
Low to moderate. Goldendoodles thrive with short daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation games.
*Every puppy has different energy levels that manifest with their growth and developing personalities.

Trainability:
Highly trainable thanks to their poodle intelligence and golden retriever eagerness to please. This makes them perfect for first-time dog owners. They respond best to positive reinforcement and gentle training methods.

Coat Type:
Goldendoodles typically have wavy to curly coats that are soft and fluffy. They are low-shedding and a great fit for those who deal with allergies.

*We recommend speaking with us about allergy concerns to ensure proper generational placement.

Our Breeding Standard

Responsible Goldendoodle breeding is an all-encompassing task. It starts with genetic testing on the parents to rule out hereditary diseases and ensure the health of each puppy. It ends with preparations for a seamless transition in their new home. While they are living with us, our puppies receive daily affection, proper socialization, and an introduction to behavioral training.

*Genetic testing is limited and does not cover all the bases. We perform genetic testing based on what’s available, but it cannot guarantee that your puppy won’t develop certain conditions as they age. We can only rule out what is being tested for at this time.

Living with Your Goldendoodle

As with any breed, Goldendoodles need the right kind of care to thrive in your home. It is important to take this into consideration when deciding which puppy is the right fit for you.

Exercise:

While every puppy is different in terms of energy, Goldendoodles generally need low to moderate exercise. We recommend trying different activities to see what works best for both of you. They typically love short daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation (snuffle mats or treat puzzles), as long as these activities are followed by plenty of cuddles.

Grooming:

Regular grooming is recommended for Goldendoodles. The best care for their soft and fluffy coats includes brushing them 3-4 times a week and visiting professional groomers every 6-8 weeks. Many families learn how to do basic trims at home between professional grooming appointments.

Health and Lifespan:

There are a lot of variables associated with health and lifespan. While we’re always happy to give our opinions and recommendations, the best thing you can do is consult your vet for questions about nutrition, exercise, health concerns, and vaccinations.
